Rachael Sage is a vibrant and innovative Americana folk-pop singer/songwriter and activist who has shared stages with an eclectic list of artists including Ani DiFranco, Beth Hart, Marshall Crenshaw, Rufus Wainwright, Imelda May, Shawn Colvin, and Judy Collins – with whom she also recorded a critically-acclaimed duet of Neil Young's Helpless.
Praised by Paste as “wildly expressive” and described by Stereo Embers as “the kind of performer you can’t take your eyes off,” Sage performs 100+ dates a year across North America, the UK, and Europe, often joined by her band The Sequins. Her forthcoming album Canopy (out October 2025) showcases her signature mix of poetic lyricism, lush arrangements, and hopeful themes of resilience and connection, following her acclaimed release The Other Side.
A self-described “cancer thriver,” Sage is also a passionate activist who has raised funds and awareness for causes including women’s health, LGBTQ+ rights, youth homelessness, and victims of gun violence.
