Rachael Sage To Join Will Young's Sold Out
"Light It Up" Tour in September
Latest Single/Video "Only You (Reimagined)" Out Now

"… the alt-pop singer bares her soul and reveals her fight to survive and thrive, inspiring others to climb and conquer their own mountains" – The Sunday Express (UK)
"Diverse and impressive... mature, heartfelt, and cohesive" – Wonderland
“Her keen, ironic sense of humor and quirky sense of the profound is what makes her special as a songwriter” – Billboard
New York-based alt-folk-pop singer-songwriter Rachael Sage will support UK Pop Idol winner Will Young's sold out "Light It Up" tour across the UK in September. Known for hits like "Leave Right Now" and "Evergreen", the famous singer will be touring his new album Light It Up. The tour begins on September 3 in Southend-on-Sea, and Sage will support Young's dates through September 29 in Inverness, Scotland.
Sage will also make her debut at the legendary Half Moon Putney on September 22, to celebrate the release of Another Side (MPress), a companion album of acoustic reimaginings of songs from 2023’s acclaimed The Other Side. Ebony Buckle will open the show, and tickets are on sale now. As well as supporting Will Young, the second half of her UK dates will be supporting the incredible Hue and Cry in November as they celebrate their 40th-anniversary tour.
To accompany the tour Sage has just introduced her mesmerising cover of the '80s Yazoo / Alison Moyet classic "Only You (Reimagined)" to UK radio under her own label, MPress Records, with a powerful video to accompany it. Watch the video here. This poignant reinterpretation of "Only You" comes at just the right moment. With its timeless, hummable melody and updated acoustic arrangement complimenting Sage’s folky storytelling approach, this heartfelt track is as much a revamp as a respectful homage to the beloved UK synth-pop original. Sage’s own acoustic guitar and percussion parts receive support from Grammy® nominated cellist Dave Eggar on cello and Amy Speace on harmonies, as well as her longtime band The Sequins.
Another Side is a reimagined companion acoustic album to Sage's critically acclaimed record, The Other Side. The entirely acoustic instrumentation brings Sage's intimate vocals to the front and center, resulting in lush versions of her most carefully crafted, exquisitely realized work yet. Here, she has stripped back to the inner roots of The Other Side. With memorable Americana-infused hooks and folk-fueled poeticism, Sage’s timeless writing reminds us what's most important is always worth waiting for, via songs steeped in just the right amount of best-is-yet-to-come optimism.
A soulful vocalist, innovative multi-instrumentalist, and award-winning singer/songwriter and producer from New York, Rachael Sage has earned a loyal international following for her dynamic piano playing, delicate guitar work, and improvisational audience interaction. Following her recent UK tour with Lulu, which included performances at prestigious venues such as The London Palladium, Glasgow’s Royal Concert Hall, and Birmingham’s Symphony Hall, Sage also made her debut at The Great Escape Festival in Brighton in May.
Catch Rachael Sage’s captivating performances this fall and experience her heartfelt, soulful artistry live.
