Rachael has been in the studio putting the finishing touches on her forthcoming album, and new music is about to emerge just like the flowers from the soil. The first single from Rachael's forthcoming album Canopy is the title track, coming out May 9. Equal parts emotional exhale and invitation to a more compassionate future, this inspirational anthem is a much-needed musical reprieve from our current cultural upheaval. Accompanied by The Sequins (including Kelly Halloran on violin, Andy Mac on drums, and Dave Eggar on cello), and produced by Rachael along with Mikhail Pivovarov, the song touches on themes of radical inclusivity, non-violence, and environmental consciousness. The single is available for pre-order/pre-save now!

Rachael says of "Canopy", "The absence of women's voices and their active presence on the world stage is a lot of what has contributed to the violence we currently see, militarily and environmentally. Creating safety and inclusivity in times of divisiveness can be a radical and powerful act; it takes courage to stand up for justice and for our fellow human beings, and through the message of this song I am trying to inspire each of us – including myself – to boldly do that for one another even when it may be uncomfortable or go against the cultural grain to do so."

Rachael will be kicking off her 2025 "Under My Canopy" Tour in the UK, starting off in London on May 13 with a very special evening at The Troubadour. From there she will go to Brighton for The Great Escape, before heading up North for a run of dates including returns to Holmfirth, Liverpool, Hull, York, & Whitchurch, and debuts in Sunderland and Scarborough. She will be accompanied by The Sequins: Kelly Halloran on violin, and Blues harmonica wizard Will Wilde. Special guest cellist Nicole Collarbone will join on select shows.
