Rachael and Team MPress have been working hard to bring some very exciting shows and creative projects together and we have a slew of fun touring, recording and visual art-centric announcements below, woohoo!

Most notably, Rachael has started a brand-new sparkly page on Patreon, a fantastic fan-fueled community where she'll be sharing a lot more music, poetry, art and more every month. A bit closer to home, we're happy to share that a fabulous US Spring Tour is well in the works in support of Rachael's acoustic album Another Side. Album release shows have already been confirmed in Los Angeles, Nashville, TN, Greenville, SC, and Austin, TX, with many more to be announced. Drumroll, please...We can officially announce that Rachael's reimagined companion album Another Side – containing entirely new, stripped-down arrangements of songs from her acclaimed record The Other Side – will be released worldwide on May 17th!! You can pre-order it in CD format already in the MPress Store.

Another Side features entirely new, acoustic (but not necessarily stripped-down) instrumentation and Rachael's intimate melodies front and center. Special guests include breakthrough folk artist Crys Matthews, touring bandmate Trina Hamlin (harmonica), percussionist Quinn (Tracy Chapman), Americana vocal duo Annalyse & Ryan, Nashville singer-songwriter Amy Speace, and MPress labelmate Grace Pettis.

It's music conference season...time to mix, mingle, hustle and generally whoop it up with our various music communities in the US and overseas! First off, Rachael will be performing a whole bunch of showcases at Folk Alliance International in Kansas City, MO over the weekend of February 22-24. This is our very favorite event of the year, where hundreds of acoustic musicians of all ilks perform and connect on matters live music, radio, activism and more. After that SXSW is coming up, and of course Rachael will be there with bells on, spreading the word about her new album and also championing the fantastic new release by MPress artist James Mastro! If you'll be down in Austin between March 11-15, please give us a shout.
