Rachael has just released a powerful official video for "Albatross (Reimagined)" from her recent album Another Side, directed by Pearl Thomas, filmed by Mike Flanagan, and edited by John Shyloski. Featuring contemporary Broadway dancer Jarren Muse (Motown the Musical, Dreamgirls), the video is a cinematic culmination of several years of Rachael's creative reflections on everything from the loss of loved ones to Covid to cancel culture, sociopolitical unrest, and the continuing quest for justice and equality. The expressive clip (coupled with a Q & A) premiered in Ghetto Blaster (US) and Skope (UK). You can watch the video HERE.

Rachael is looking forward to attending the 2024 Northeast Regional Folk Alliance (NERFA) Conference next week in Portland, ME! She will be performing in several Private Showcases, accompanied by Kelly Halloran on violin. If you are attending, please get in touch!

On December 11 MPress Records is teaming up with our friends at ECR Music Group to present a special Holiday Bash at The Bowery Electric in NYC! Rachael Sage & The Sequins (featuring Kelly Halloran on violin, Trina Hamlin on harmonica, & Doug Yowell on drums) will perform alongside fellow MPress artist James Mastro & The Gold Stars and ECR artist Miles East. Tickets are on sale now, so make plans to join us!

Rachael just got back from a whirlwind week and a half in the UK supporting Scottish 80s hitmakers Hue & Cry, accompanied by Sequins Trina Hamlin on harmonica and Katie Marie on percussion. They had a wonderful time playing for audiences in Gateshead, Cardiff, Manchester, Birmingham, and London.
