Hello, and we hope this newsletter finds you safe, well, and listening to lots of music!!
As we delve deeper into Autumn – amidst oft-overwhelming political mishugas – Rachael & Team MPress are happy to share some uplifting & entirely non-partisan news!
Firstly, Rachael has just released a brand new video for her song "Cave"! It's her first venture into animation, and you can read more about it & watch the video via the link below. Also, last month Rachael and Emmy®-winning production company Stream Theory successfully presented the first "Bravery On Fire" Women's Cancer Awareness livestream (now permanently archived). There's also a lovely "Bravery On Fire" charity merch line which will continue to benefit Foundation for Women's Cancer.
We're happy to also share that Rachael has a handful of festival and venue-sponsored performances this month! Details below...

1. RACHAEL'S ANIMATED "CAVE" VIDEO: US & UK PREMIERES!

Rachael's brand new video for her song "Cave" – composed when she was a teenager – has just premiered via Stereo Embers in the US, and Original Rock in the UK! Art-directed by Rachael, directed by Nick Clark and animated by Daniela P. Solomon, the video was partially shot before lockdown but completed remotely, with Rachael adding in layers of her signature line-art and handwriting. Animation brings the drawings to life, complementing the timely, stream-of-consciousness lyrics about emotional isolation. Read the official press release and watch the video on YouTube... and if you enjoy, we always appreciate you sharing!

On September 24th, Rachael hosted "Bravery On Fire: A Benefit for Women's Cancer Awareness". So far, the virtual concert event has raised almost six thousand dollars in donations for Foundation for Women's Cancer (woohoo!). The livestream – which is permanently viewable at the event website – featured an incredible lineup of speakers and performers including Grammy® winners Paula Cole, Lisa Loeb, & Gaby Moreno; Tony® nominees Alison Pill & Megan Hilty; AGT Finalist Mandy Harvey, and award-winning musician/activists Jill Sobule, Grace Kelly, Heather Mae, Crys Matthews, Grace Pettis, and Fiona Harte.
Special guests included Doctors from Mass General and Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospitals, along with surprise greetings from Judy Collins and Ingrid Michaelson! Watch & Donate now! (The YouTube version is captioned.)

The first round of Grammy® voting closes on Monday, October 12, and if you are a voting member of the Recording Academy, please consider Rachael's album Character. As most of you know, this album is a creative reflection of her cancer recovery, so Rachael and all of us at Team MPress are especially grateful and honored that it has received so much support. Thanks in advance for listening, and to all who contributed!
