1. RACHAEL SAGE'S BRAND NEW MAXI-SINGLE "EVERYDAY" OUT *NOW*, BENEFITING MUSIC EDUCATION!Who doesn't love Buddy Holly? And who doesn't want to support music education? Before you answer those questions, we encourage you to go to your favorite streaming platform and check out Rachael's brand new maxi-single of "Everyday", the song that made her want to be a professional recording artist. You can listen HERE to all three versions of Rachael's recordings of "Everyday" – including a brand new acoustic version as well as a chamber verson and the original band rendition from Rachael Sage & The Sequins. All proceeds from the sale of this single will benefit The Buddy Holly Educational Foundation. Rachael says about the song, “I’ve always wanted to do a cover of Buddy Holly’s ‘Everyday’, because it’s probably my very favorite pop song ever. My Dad and I went to see ‘The Buddy Holly Story’ in the movie theatre when I was a kid, and his story and music impacted me enormously from then on. Whether I’m playing it on Wurlitzer or piano, the melody is a reminder for me of just how precious Buddy Holly’s legacy is, and how much potential artistry the world lost with his sudden passing. I hope I’ve honored him just a little bit!” |
